File Pull Down Menu| backgrnd | Displays a background drawing, such as fixtures and setup gig drawings. These files are in the SuperCam .cam file format. | close | Will clear the screen and close file that was opened. | comm | Files can be selected and sent out the serial port. Uses serial port to send files to DNC type machine tools. | end | Exists program, saves machine configuration. | delete | Deletes files selected by the user. | editcnc | Used to edit CNC G & M code files. | exp_cnc | Creates CNC G and M code files with .TXT extension. | exp_hpgl | This command exports the cam file in memory to a disk file in the HPGL format with the .PLT extension. | font_exp | Creates source a source file for the font presently loaded. | font_imp | Reads, interpets and loads font source file. | imp_bmp | Used to import BMP image files. The BMP file can be directly converted to machine movements. | imp_cnc | Imports CNC G and M codes, files must have the extension of .TXT. Uses travel and cut speed rates as feedrate defaults. Under developement. | imp_dxf | Imports DXF files. The file will be graphically displayed when the table is not selected. When the table is selected, it will follow the DXF file as a tool path. | imp_hpgl | This is the command that imports HPGL files, must have the extension of .PLT. The use of other programs to create tool paths is possible because of this command. The command prompts for scale factor, rotate, save to buff, filename. The users application program should be setup to export to a HP 7245 plotter. | imp_tiff | Used to create linewidth or density to depth, engraved images in material. File must be uncompressed. | new | Sets up for new .CAM file. | open | Read and display operator specified file, must have .CAM extension. The file must be in same sub-director as SuperCam. This is an item in the MCHNCTRL.DAT file if there was a file open when SuperCam was last exited. | quit | Exit program. | readmcfg | Reads machine configuration file, specified by user. | restore | Reads the .BAK file if present and replaces the drawing buffer with it. | save | Saves list of item in memory as .CAM file to present sub-directory, uses default filename. | saveas | Save ram buffer as user specified filename. | savemcfg | Saves machine configuration parameters to user specified file. Default filename is MCHNCTRL.DAT. | setpath | Sets the path to files to be opened or saved. | setupcnc | Configures the codes generated for the CNC controller. | KEYBOARD ENTRY COMMANDS | These commands are executed by keyboard entry only.* | fontpath | Sets the directory path for the font files. | imp_tiff | Used to create linewidth or density to depth, engraved images in material.
