SuperCam's Commands Listed in alphabetical order


setcompSets each axis's backlash value, the distance it must move to begin moving the carriage after a change in direction.

Setcomp (set compensation values): The setcomp command can be selected from the Mconfig pull-down menu or by entering setcomp on the command line.

When selecting the setcomp command, the command line will prompt, setcomp, X Y Z Movement Compensation; x amount 0.0000:. By entering a value for the x backlash distance and clicking the left mouse button or enter on the keyboard will set the new value. By clicking the right mouse button the value given will be accepted. ((A backlash value is the distance it must move to begin moving the carriage after a change in direction)).

The command line will prompt, Test x compensation value Y:N. Click the left or right mouse button for yes or no respectively.

The command line will prompt, y amount 0.0000:. By entering a value for the y backlash distance and clicking the left mouse button or enter on the keyboard will set the new value. By clicking the right mouse button the value given will be accepted.

The command line will prompt, Test y compensation value Y:N.Click the left or right mouse button for yes or no espectively.

The command line will prompt, z amount 0.0000:. By entering a value for the z backlash distance and clicking the left mouse button or enter on the keyboard will set the new value. By clicking the right mouse button the value given will be accepted.

The command line will prompt, Test z compensation value Y:N.Click the left or right mouse button for yes or no respectively.

The compflag must be in the ON mode for the setcompvalues to be considered.

To resume the setcomp command, click the right mouse button.
