How To Relief Engrave With Coreldraw and SuperCam
Screen Save of Source Artwork for high relief engraving of text.

First I drew the oval and fitted the text to a segment of the oval.

Then I converted the text to lines by ungrouping the leters.

Then I combined the letters with the surrounding oval.

With the CorelDraw command of Contour the pocketing toolpath is created by contouring to the center.

The contour distance should be half the diameter of the cutting tool.

There is a need to finish off some places in the toolpath and the contour lines jump around.

Contour lines are put on a separate layer and exported as an HPGL file.

SuperCam then is used to make the machine follow the lines at ever increasing depths.
