MiniRobo Assembly Instructions

You will find the couplers securely attached to either the motor or the lead screw for a given axis. There is an X, Y or Z marked on each corresponding motor and the needed screws are taped to each motor. The couplers are attached at the correct positions for the intended axis, so the motors must be attached to the correct axis as marked.

Lift the gantry from the sides and not the lead screws. Align over the base, lining up the holes.

Match up the holes on both sides of the gantry to the base.

Both edges will fit flush against the flat piece of metal that is already attached to the base.

There are four screws and washers taped to the each side of the gantry for securing.

X axis motor: Insert into the location as shown. Slide the coupler onto the lead screw or motor shaft. Secure with the screws.

With the allen wrench, tighten the set screw on the coupler to secure to the lead screw or motor shaft.

Attach the connector on the motor harness to the motor.

Connect the motor harness to the 6 ft. serial port motor cable.

Y axis motor: Insert into the location as shown.

Z axis motor: Insert into the location as shown. Slide the coupler onto the lead screw or motor shaft.

Secure the motor with the screws. Attach the connector on the motor harness to the motor.

With the allen wrench, tighten the set screw on the coupler to secure to the lead screw or motor shaft.

Connect the motor harness to the 6 ft. serial port motor cable.
