Delay Parameter Configuration Dialog Window
Defines the delays to match operation to the tool attached.
The parameters for the servo motors will not be displayed if stepper motors are attached.
Initial Delay this is the time in milliseconds paused at the initial start of the attached tool. This is often required for plasma torches to clear the air line.
Down Delay this is the time in milliseconds paused at the beginning of each cut. This is the delay used to pierce material with a plasma torch.
Up Delay this is the time in milliseconds paused at the end of each cut.
Ramp Period this is the period of time in seconds, default being 0.01, for changing the motion velocities to facilitate ramping up and down.
Direction Delay this is the amount of time in milleseconds that will be paused when a change in direction of movement occures. By default this is set to zero, machines with massive moving parts may require this delay.
Direction Angle this is the angle in which the direction delay will be engaged.
Servo Start Delay this is the time in milleseconds for the servo motor drivers to engage and select the attached motors.
Servo Stop Delay this is the time in milleseconds given for the servo motor drivers to disengage.
Motion Blender by default this is checked to enable the blended motion algorithm. This causes the ramp up and down accelerations to be spread across multiple segments of a polyline, circles and arcs.
Reject Angle this is the cosine fo the angle limit. By default it is set to 0.500 which is 30 degrees.
Reject Speed Changes check by default.
Blend Frequencies when checked causes the speed adjustments made based on changes in axis step frequencies. Somewhat experimental, by default this is not checked.
Blend Fine when checked a fine blend of motion step frequencies takes place on changes in axis step frequencies. Somewhat experimental, by default this is not checked.
